Support
Most day-to-day account and permission questions are answered fastest by your school administrator — they manage staff records, schedules, and permissions directly. The answers below cover common questions any staff member can use in the meantime.
Where to go, depending on your question
- Account, permission, or staff-record questions — your school administrator manages these directly and can answer fastest.
- StaffHub product or technical support — support@staff-hub.app.
- Privacy requests (what StaffHub holds about you, data questions) — privacy@staff-hub.app. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Getting Started
- How do I get a StaffHub account?
- StaffHub accounts are set up by your school administrator — there is no public sign-up. If you're a staff member who should have access and don't yet, contact your school administrator.
Sign In / One-Time Code
- I didn't receive my sign-in code (OTP) by email.
- Check your spam/junk folder first. Make sure you're entering the same work email your school registered for you. If several minutes pass with nothing, request a new code — codes expire after a short window for security.
- My sign-in code says it's invalid or expired.
- Request a new code from the sign-in screen and enter it promptly — codes are single-use and time-limited.
Schedule
- My schedule looks incorrect.
- Your schedule is maintained by your school's scheduling administrator. If something looks wrong, report it to your school administrator so it can be corrected at the source.
Attendance
- I can't check in.
- Make sure location services are enabled for StaffHub if your school requires location for check-in, and that you're within range of your school's configured checkpoint. If it still fails, contact your school administrator.
- Does StaffHub track my location all the time?
- No. Location is only requested at the moment you tap Check In or Check Out, and only if your school has enabled that requirement — never in the background and never continuously. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Tasks
- I can't see a task I was told about.
- Tasks are assigned by your school. If you believe you should see one that isn't appearing, ask the person who assigned it or your administrator.
Duties
- My duty assignment looks wrong.
- Duty rosters are managed by your school's scheduling team — report discrepancies to them directly.
Covers
- I was asked to cover a class I didn't agree to.
- Cover assignments are coordinated by your school's leadership. Speak with the staff member who arranged it or your administrator.
Notifications
- I'm not receiving notifications.
- Confirm notifications are allowed for StaffHub in your device settings, and that you're signed in on the device you expect to receive them on. If the issue continues, contact your school administrator.
Profile
- My staff details are wrong (name, phone, job title).
- Most profile fields are managed by your school administrator. Ask them to correct the record, or update it yourself if your school allows self-editing for that field.
Privacy / Account Access
- I need my account disabled or removed.
- Because StaffHub accounts are organization-managed, your school administrator can deactivate your account at any time. A dedicated in-app self-service deletion request is not yet available — contact your school administrator, who can also reach out to privacy@staff-hub.app on your behalf if needed.
- What information does StaffHub hold about me?
- See our Privacy Policy for a full description of what is collected and why. For specific questions about your own records, start with your school administrator, or contact privacy@staff-hub.app for StaffHub-level privacy questions.
